Vindelälvsdraget

Vindelälvsdraget is a unique dog sleigh race, a 400 km long relay
during 4 days along the ice of the
untouched Vindeln River. Totally 30 distances of 6-22 km. The
competition starts in the mountain
village Ammarnäs and ends in Vännäsby, where the Vindeln River flows
into the Ume River.
Vindelälvsdraget is suitable for everybody. All kinds of skiers and
dogs can take part - the elite in slim fit
dresses as well as the ordinary skier. All teams compete in the same
